Bubba's Carp Lake has been around for a while, but as of this year it is now owned and operated by Don Gideon. Don has been a pond boss for over 30 years at many of the lakes we all know and love from PineCove to Pages to Pineyside and finally his own Bubbas Carp Lake.
Bubbas Carp Lake is about two acres with a creek that runs directly into it that lets that cool creek water into the lake in the hot summer. It also has a spot in it that is about 30 feet maybe deeper.
Don has been doing a lot of work on the lake during the winter months to make this lake great. You can drive to the back side and it also has about 4 more sheds that Don has put up. If any of you know "Shortcast" he's been helping Don all that he can and they have it looking good.
Directions:
From Chesnee on 221 North turn R onto Harris-Henrietta Rd at 4 way stop go straight for approx 6/10 miles turn left at sign and the lake is on the right.
From Gaffney on Hwy 11 North turn R onto 221A after crossing Broad River Bridge turn L onto Ferry Rd then go to 4 way stop turn right onto Harris-Henrietta Rd go 6/10 mile and turn left at sign the lake is on the right.
